Wound Nurse
Spring Creek Rehab, a leading provider of healthcare services, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wound Nurse to join our team in Murray, Kentucky.
Wound Nurse Responsibilities:
• Provide wound care services to patients with acute and chronic wounds, including assessments, treatments, and education
• Develop and implement individualized wound care plans to promote healing and prevent complications
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes
• Conduct wound cleaning, dressing changes, and other interventions as needed
• Monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as needed
• Educate patients and families on wound care techniques and self-care strategies
• Participate in rounds and discuss patients' progress with the healthcare team
Wound Nurse Requirements:
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Current Nurse licensure
• Minimum of 1year of experience in wound care or related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with wound care protocols and evidenced-based practices
