Schedule: Wednesday through Saturday | 7:00 PM - 5:00 AM
Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is hiring a Full-Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Security Officer to provide security services for residential communities and other assigned client properties throughout the Denver area. This position combines vehicle patrols, foot patrols, and customer response responsibilities while supporting apartment communities, residential neighborhoods, construction projects, and commercial locations.
The ideal candidate is dependable, observant, and comfortable working independently while responding professionally to client requests and documenting daily security activities.
Primary Responsibilities
Mobile Patrol Operations
- Conduct scheduled vehicle patrols across multiple assigned properties.
- Perform routine foot patrols of apartment communities, residential developments, construction sites, and retail locations.
- Check parking lots, common areas, exterior doors, gates, fencing, and perimeter areas.
- Maintain a highly visible security presence to discourage criminal activity and unauthorized access.
Customer Response
- Respond promptly to client requests for service and reported concerns.
- Investigate complaints involving suspicious activity, disturbances, property issues, or safety concerns.
- Provide courteous and professional assistance while resolving routine service calls.
- Notify supervisors of incidents requiring additional support or follow-up.
Property Security
- Identify safety hazards, property damage, or maintenance concerns during patrols.
- Observe and report suspicious behavior, trespassing, vandalism, or other security issues.
- Verify that assigned locations remain secure throughout each patrol.
- Follow all post orders, client instructions, and company procedures.
Documentation & Reporting
- Complete detailed patrol logs and incident reports before the end of each shift.
- Document responses to service calls with clear and accurate information.
- Record observations using company reporting software and mobile applications.
- Maintain timely communication with supervisors regarding significant incidents or operational updates.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to safely operate a company patrol vehicle.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent observation and decision-making abilities.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to successfully pass all required background screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in mobile patrol, residential security, or property protection.
- Experience responding to customer service requests or security-related incidents.
- Familiarity with digital reporting systems and mobile workforce applications.
- Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment
- Multiple residential and commercial client locations throughout the assigned patrol area.
- Regular driving between client properties during each shift.
- Indoor and outdoor patrol responsibilities in varying weather conditions.
- Frequent walking, standing, and vehicle operation throughout the workday.
- Evening and overnight schedule require consistent alertness and professionalism.
