Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled 2nd Shift Maintenance Electrical/Automation Engineer to join our manufacturing operations. This role is vital in maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex industrial electrical and automation systems to ensure continuous production and operational efficiency. Duties
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial electrical systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and automation equipment to minimize downtime.
- Install, configure, and maintain human-machine interface (HMI) systems for effective operator interaction with machinery.
- Program, troubleshoot, and repair PLC systems using ladder logic (LD) programming language, ensuring seamless control of manufacturing processes.
- Maintain and calibrate industrial robotic systems, including Fanuc robots and other robotic automation equipment.
- Implement the direction of the maintenance team on shift.
- Provide troubleshooting support to on-shift maintenance craftspeople and production supervision.
- Interface with internal company support groups to accomplish objectives and provide contract engineering management and direction when needed.
