Naz’s Halal is bringing the flavor of New York City to Wesley Chapel! We are a fast-growing, New York-based franchise that started as a single food truck in Queens and has expanded nationwide.
Our story starts and finishes with one pillar: Family. We believe in treating our customers and our team like family. We serve authentic, high-quality Halal meals, from our famous Rice Platters and Gyros to our signature White and Red sauces. The Role
We are seeking energetic and reliable Line Cooks & Crew Members to join our new Wesley Chapel location. In this fast-paced environment, you will be the heart of our kitchen, ensuring every plate that goes out is fresh, delicious, and up to our high standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare & Cook: Execute menu items such as Rice Platters, Gyros, Wings, Falafel and more, to recipe standards with speed and accuracy.
- Quality Control: Ensure all food is prepared fresh and looks as good as it tastes.
- Prep Work: Assist with chopping, marinating, and preparing ingredients for the shift.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen station. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
- Stocking: Monitor inventory at your station and restock ingredients as needed throughout the shift.
- Teamwork: Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service during busy rushes.
- Frequently lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Previous kitchen or line cook experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a great attitude.
- Speed & Focus: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced "rush" environment without sacrificing quality.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable team players who take pride in their work.
