Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our team. This full-time, on-site role will support the daily financial operations of our fast-paced food and beverage business. The ideal candidate has strong accounting experience, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is comfortable adapting to evolving processes.
What You'll Do:
Financial Operations

Support daily accounting and financial transactions

Assist with weekly and monthly billing cycles

Participate in collections efforts using client-specific platforms
Billing & Accounts Receivable

Prepare and issue weekly commissary invoices for core business operations

Reconcile invoicing and payments with the Events team weekly

Track receivables and support collection processes
Month-End Close

Post journal entries and reconcile checkbooks to the general ledger

Review unit-level financial statements and work with regional teams to resolve discrepancies
Banking & Reconciliations

Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations and related postings

Prepare and make deposits; ensure accurate posting to the general ledger
Financial Reporting & Analysis

Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations

Collaborate with operations teams on budgeting and forecasting

Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed
Support Functions

Assist with accounts payable as required

Provide general support to the finance and operations teams

Contribute to improving and streamlining accounting processes and procedures
Requirements
What We Need From You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the food service or hospitality industry
- Proficient in accounting softwares, Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, and numerous other online based apps
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, adaptable, and eager to contribute to process improvement
