Job Title: Cleaning Technician
Location: Jackson, MN
Schedule: Evenings, Mondays through Fridays, 5pm - 9:30pm
Pay Rate: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment in commercial office buildings and facilities. This position requires working independently during evening hours and taking pride in delivering high-quality cleaning services.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas
- Vacuum carpets and mop hard-surface floors
- Empty trash and recycling containers
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces
- Clean and disinfect high-touch areas, including door handles, light switches, and shared equipment
- Replenish restroom and kitchen supplies as needed
- Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors
- Follow company cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Secure facility upon completion of assigned tasks
- Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or supply shortages to management
Qualifications
- Previous commercial cleaning or janitorial experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain cleaning standards
- Dependable transportation to and from job sites
- Ability to pass a background check, if required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and reach for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 30-50 pounds
- Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks
- Comfortable working around cleaning products and equipment
