Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their food orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare food items swiftly and safely, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
- Operate kitchen equipment efficiently to ensure timely food preparation and quality control.
- Manage cash register operations, process cash and card transactions, and handle cash handling with accuracy.
- Upsell menu items to increase sales and enhance the customer experience through friendly suggestions.
- Maintain a clean workspace by regularly sanitizing counters, equipment, and dining areas in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Assist in restocking supplies, organizing inventory, and supporting team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated skills in food preparation, food handling, and operating kitchen equipment.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail sales transactions.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during high-volume periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
