A full-time paralegal is needed to work, in-person, out of our Vero Beach office. The work focus will be on hearing and trial preparations for complex family and commercial litigation matters. Litigation experience is strongly preferred.
A well-qualified applicant will be a Florida Registered Paralegal pursuant to Rule 20-3.1 . and will have worked as a trial-paralegal, assisting the preparation for, and attendance at, evidentiary hearings and trials. He or she must be capable of demonstrating exemplary communication with clients, attorneys, judicial staff, and peers. He or she must be capable of resolving routine legal issues under the direction of an attorney. He or she must be able to think critically and use independent judgment within the parameters of a para-professional's area of responsibility to further client objectives and protect client interests. A strong working knowledge of the rules of procedure and evidence is highly desirable.
Napier & Rollin is a comfortable and relaxed but professional work environment. We focus on quality results for our clients. Hours can be flexible but generally 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with one hour allotted for lunch/breaks. Pay is commensurate with experience and consistent with the local market. Performance is reviewed and, in addition to hourly pay, bonuses paid twice per year.
