We have an immediate opening for a full-time or part-time COOK position at Midway Bowl.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position possesses the ability to prepare meals with a brief description of what is needed and has experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
This position is responsible for the preparation and presentation of food items for guests in the restaurant. The ideal candidate has previous experience in a fast-paced environment, is able to perform well under pressure, and is comfortable with interpersonal communication. As a Cook, you will interact with both guests and fellow team members on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare food in a timely manner.
- Cook the menu items to ensure that the food is served properly and that it is cooked to the proper temperature and consistency.
- Grilling, cooking, and frying foods.
- Prepare food in a timely manner.
- Performing simple food preparation tasks, such as slicing up meats and vegetables.
- Completing orders, and plating the food.
- Rotating food and stamping the time and date on the food in the coolers.
- Cleaning food preparation equipment and areas.
- Conform to standard kitchen safety protocols.
