Life Support International is a small company specializing in providing the finest Aviation Life Support, Safety, Survival & Rescue equipment available on the market today. LSI recognizes we are the last line of defense in the event of emergency and the products and services we offer can make a difference between disaster and coming home safely. We provide in-house design and manufacturing capabilities to accommodate special end user requirements. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team to assist in the general production & development of new products.
Expectations will include, but not be limited to:
Test, Overhaul, Repair, Rig, Pack & Assemble all applicable Aviation Safety, Survival and Life Support equipment, in accordance with applicable Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Transportation (FAA) and OEM technical manuals, drawings, specifications as well as the LSI AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS)
Duties
- Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading materials.
- Utilize RF scanners for tracking inventory movements.
- Engage in order fulfillment activities, including picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist with stocking shelves and organizing products within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and address any operational challenges.
- Participate in regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Provide support in materials handling and packaging of goods for distribution.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is required, with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems such as AS400 is a plus.
- Experience operating heavy equipment (forklift, crane) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations.
- Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment maintenance is beneficial.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and engage in physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Experience with order picking, packing, shipping & receiving processes.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
