Job Responsibilities
- Scheduling and Dispatching: Coordinate and schedule HVAC and electrical technicians for service calls, installations, and maintenance appointments. Ensure technicians are routed efficiently for timely service.
- Customer Service: Answer incoming calls, address customer inquiries, schedule appointments.
- Warranty Processing: Process warranties through various HVAC equipment manufacturers
- Ordering Parts: Order parts as needed from supply houses or HVAC distributors.
- Communication: Maintain clear communication with technicians.
- Record-Keeping: Keep detailed records of service calls, customer information, and technician notes. Update system entries accurately to ensure smooth communication between departments.
Experience:
- Prior experience in dispatching or customer service, preferably in the HVAC, electrical, or similar field.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple calls and schedule appointments in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer Proficiency: Comfortable using basic office software and scheduling software (experience with Housecall Pro a plus).
- Problem-Solving Ability: Quick-thinker with a strong attention to detail and a customer-first mindset.
- Team Player: Ability to work well with others, including technicians and other office staff, to ensure smooth daily operations.
