Position Title: Dump Truck/End Dump Driver

Position Summary:
We are seeking reliable Dump Truck/End Dump Drivers to join our team. This is a skilled position requiring a strong dedication to safety, teamwork, and professionalism. The driver will be responsible for transporting materials such as dirt, gravel, sand, concrete, and asphalt to and from job sites. Safety, efficiency, and adherence to DOT regulations are essential for this role. This position plays a crucial role in supporting construction operations by delivering material on time and in optimal condition.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a dump truck/end dump trailer to transport materials to designated locations.
- Load and unload materials safely while following company and industry standards.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and trailer to ensure they meet safety standards and are free from mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of deliveries, hours, and truck maintenance.
- Follow all DOT, OSHA, MSHA, and company safety guidelines while on and off the road.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with site supervisors, customers, dispatchers, and other team members to coordinate timely deliveries.
- Assist with routine maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
- Adhere to traffic laws and ensure proper handling of the truck to prevent accidents.
- Maintain compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and federal and state transportation laws, including maintaining accurate paperwork.
- Report any maintenance needs to the fleet department and schedule repairs as necessary.
- Follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be able to perform repetitive work.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Must be willing to work evenings and weekends when necessary.
- Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in OSHA guidelines and MSHA policies and procedures manual.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of experience is preferred.
- Must be flexible to work days, nights or weekends.
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Ability to communicate using two-way radios.
- Valid State Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B (depending on truck type).
- Familiarity with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions and is exposed to airborne particles. The employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
