Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced bartender who is enthusiastic about craft beer, delivers excellent customer service, has previous experience with mixology, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is personable, reliable, and knowledgeable about beer styles, brewing processes, and bar operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly, attentive service to all guests
- Serve beer and other beverages in accordance with company standards and local laws
- Educate customers on beer styles, flavors, and brewery offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and taproom
- Handle cash and process payments accurately
- Monitor guest behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Support brewery events and promotions as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of bartending experience (brewery or craft beer experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of craft beer styles and terminology
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must meet legal age requirements and hold any required certifications (e.g., TIPS or equivalent)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
