The water jet operator will operate the water jet machine which is programmed to cut patterns out of stainless steel or nickel alloy.
Role and Responsibilities:
Responsible for operation and maintenance of water jet machine including production, quality, and accuracy of production logs and daily maintenance checklists.
Monitor consumables and report any deficiencies immediately.
Set up work orders on the machine and verify material to be cut per work order.
Load and offload cutting table of scrap and finished parts.
Measure material left over after the cutting process.
Check the quality of parts off the machine including measurements, cutting edges, and edge taper.
Work with QA on all matters of quality including cut parts, cutting tolerances, quality statistics, and ISO 9001 certification.
Keep work area clean and organized including washing machine down and sweeping around the machine.
Be a team player. Assist other co-workers and fill in as material handler, receiver, or shipper as needed.
Daily maintenance includes checking consumables, rebuilding parts of the machine, and cleaning and checking filters on different areas of the machine.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Prior Water Jet cutting table experience is preferred.
High School Diploma required or Equivalent.
Need to have basic computer operation experience.

Must pass pre-employment background and drug and alcohol screen.
