Northwest University’s (NU) Center for English Language Education (CELE) is seeking multiple adjunct ESL professors to teach 1-3 ESL classes for international students at our main campus in Kirkland, WA beginning in the Fall 2026 Semester (August 31st – December 18th). CELE is NU’s intensive English program that serves both degree and non-degree seeking ESL students wanting to improve their English skills.
Instructors will prepare and deliver engaging, communicative, student-centered lessons, utilize Moodle CMS, Microsoft 365, and textbook online platforms, give appropriate feedback, and submit grades in a timely matter. Outside of class responsibilities are limited to monthly hour-long teacher meetings and assistance with mid-semester advising.
