We are seeking a temporary detail-oriented Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to support daily transportation, shipping, and production coordination activities. This role is responsible for coordinating truck and railcar shipments, processing customer orders, maintaining accurate shipping documentation, and ensuring timely communication between customers and internal departments. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Temp Distribution Specialist Details:

Temporary position
-
$28.00 /hour
-
Full Time work available
-
First Shift
-
Coordinate truck and railcar shipments to meet customer delivery requirements.

Process shipping activities, including SAP data entry, production planning support, reporting, and filing.

Confirm and reconcile production and inventory records within SAP.

Match customer requirements with available transportation, product quality specifications, and delivery schedules.

Apply laboratory product analysis data to customer orders.

Generate Bills of Lading (BOLs) and Certificates of Analysis (COAs). Maintain accurate shipping and departmental records.

Communicate with customers and internal customer service teams regarding shipping and delivery updates.
Temp Distribution Specialist Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent required.
-
Previous experience in shipping, logistics, transportation, customer service, or manufacturing preferred.

Experience with SAP is preferred.
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
