Field Service Technicians perform multiple duties including commissioning, operating, maintaining, optimizing and decommissioning a variety of natural gas processing equipment. An unrelenting focus on safety for all activities is paramount. With a customer-centric focus, Field Technicians must possess a strong capacity for attention to detail and a sense of urgency for both the customer and Company to meet and exceed operation goals.
Responsibilities
· Safely operate and maintain on-site natural gas conditioning equipment
· Communicate with supervisor, other Nacelle Technicians and occasionally with customer and other customer contractors to maximize performance of equipment and operations
· Assist in the managing of the performance of processing units
· Recognize and report equipment issues
- Report & track data. Assist with the identification of problems or trends related to equipment operations
- Prepare reports, and operational recommendations related to equipment
- Complete appropriate documentation and paperwork, including but not limited to, maintaining logs of operating conditions, execution and issues and report any irregularities
· Routinely communicate with Operations Manager
· Assist with the operation and/or maintenance activities performed by third parties
· Follow all Nacelle and Nacelle customer safety policies and procedures
· Identify, report, and correct safety and environmental concerns
· Perform general housekeeping duties and be familiar with Nacelle’s HAZOP and Spill Prevention Plans
· Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements
· Demonstrate performance toward operational excellence
· Regular and predictable attendance

Qualifications
- 0 - 2 years’ experience in natural gas processing industry with some experience and knowledge of gas processing equipment, engines, and electrical components
- Ability to learn aspects of control systems i.e. FloBoss, Eagle, Murphy Centurion, ADEM 3 & 4 Controllers, PLC, etc. a plus
- Experience with gas filtration, pressure control, & measurement a plus, but not required
· Ability to learn safe handling practices of flammable gases, liquids and high pressure systems
· Ability to learn aspects of mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic equipment used in gas and liquid product measurement and control
· Possess a valid driver's license and meet company insurability requirements
· May be required to possess a commercial driver’s license, drive a company commercial vehicle and comply with all commercial vehicle regulations
· May be required to achieve and maintain certifications as required to perform job duties
· Required to successfully complete a background check and drug screening prior to being hired
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
· Competencies, skills, and abilities:
o Ability to effectively organize, plan, prioritize, document, and complete work with minimum supervision.
o Basic computer skills of MS Office, operating systems, company software, some PLC and HMI controls
o Basic math skills (algebra, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals)
o Adequate analytical and troubleshooting skills

o Ability to work with a team, take direction from supervisors, keep required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules

Physical Demands/Working Environment:
Regularly required to:
- Use hand tools and equipment, repetitive hand use such as simple grasp and twisting motion included
- Talk and hear; verbally express ideas, information, and instructions
- Have the ability to work around loud to moderate noise
- Climb stairs and ladders to elevated workspaces
- Lift, pull, push, or carry up to twenty-five (25) pounds regularly and up to seventy five (75) pounds occasionally
Occasionally required to:
- Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Stand/walk for long periods of time without a break
- Remain seated in a normal position for up to half the workday
- Enter and work in confined spaces
- Work in low-lit areas
Miscellaneous:
· Must be available to work all shifts and schedules
· Will be required to work in all climate conditions
· Must be available for emergency call outs
- Depending upon the location and workload, overnight travel will be required.
- Will be required to participate and qualify for a variety safety training programs.
· This is a safety sensitive position subject to random drug testing
