Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Position Overview
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing vendor invoices and making payments through weekly check & ACH payment runs. This position also cares for co-workers by making expense reimbursements and travel payments.
Job Responsibilities
· Receive invoices, code and post, refer for approval per company policy
· Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
· Reconcile payments with vendor statements and resolve discrepancies as needed.
· Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and made on time.
· Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries regarding payments and invoices.
· Process expense reimbursements in a timely manner.
· Prepare Sales & Excise tax reports for all jurisdictions
· Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
Success Indicators
· Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role.
· Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office, particularly Excel.
· Prior experience with Deltek Costpoint accounting strongly preferred.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for vendor interactions and internal reporting.
· Associate’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Work Arrangement
This position is required to work in the office for the first six (6) months of employment. After six months, employees may request a hybrid or fully remote work arrangement. Approval is based on employee performance, job responsibilities, and business needs and is not guaranteed. Remote work arrangements may be modified or revoked at any time.
Salary
Pay: $52,000.00 to $69,000.00 per year

Pay: $52,000.00 - $69,000.00 per year
