Position Overview:
We are seeking a tenacious and GMP-compliant Tube Squeezer to support our pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for the controlled extraction of bulk product (e.g., creams, gels, ointments, or intermediates) from manufacturing tubs into designated containers or packaging equipment.
The Tube Squeezer plays a critical role in maximizing yield, preventing contamination, and ensuring compliance with FDA and cGMP standards. Kesin's production department approximately squeezes about 6,000 tubes per week.
This is a 10 hour shift. The days are Monday through Thursday. The hours are 6:30am-5:00pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extract pharmaceutical bulk product from stainless steel or approved manufacturing tubs using validated tools and procedures
- Ensure maximum product recovery while maintaining product integrity
- Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and company SOPs at all times
- Perform and document line clearance and material reconciliation activities
- Accurately complete batch records and production documentation
- Maintain strict cleanliness and sanitation standards in controlled environments
- Wear required PPE and follow gowning procedures for classified areas
- Report deviations, contamination risks, or equipment issues immediately
- Assist with cleaning and sanitizing equipment per validated cleaning procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
- Adherence to FDA, cGMP, and company quality standards
- Commitment to data integrity and accurate documentation
- Participation in audits and inspections as required
- Maintain a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Repetitive hand and arm movements
- Lift up to 40–50 lbs as required
- Ability to wear PPE (gown, gloves, hairnet, mask, safety glasses) for extended periods
