Position Summary
The Sales Territory Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market share within a designated geographic area. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical knowledge and a passion for building lasting customer relationships. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, offering tailored solutions that meet their operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement territory sales plans aligned with company objectives
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target industries
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers through regular site visits and consultations
- Conduct product presentations and equipment demonstrations
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized solutions and proposals
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms in accordance with company policies
- Provide accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and forecasts
- Representing the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in heavy equipment or industrial machinery
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Strong technical aptitude and understanding of equipment applications
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with heavy construction equipment
- Multilingual skills (e.g., Spanish, French)
- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety protocols
