SUMMARY:
The Infusion Nurse will be responsible for administering IV therapy as prescribed by the patient’s physician and/or Nurse Practitioner. This position will assist their direct supervisor, the Head Infusion Nurse, in a variety of tasks to oversee the IV Therapy Program to maintain a well organized work environment and fully stocked center. The position will focus on superior customer service and positive patient experience in Med Spa environment. This position requires the individual to be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Texas with a current license.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- MUST be willing to travel between two clinics in the Robstown & Corpus Christi Area.
- Add mixture protocols to IV Bags, perform pushes and set drip rates for Infusions
- Administer medications, vitamins and fluids via IV Infusion
- Administer various intramuscular & subcutaneous injections of medications & vitamins
- Monitor patients during their IV Therapy & Injections
- Provide safe, effective, appropriate & comprehensive infusion services to patients
- Assist with scheduling & Preparing Patients for Infusion Appointments
- Chart and document Progress Notes for each Infusion Appointment in EMR Software
- Interact directly with patients in a clinical capacity to assess needs
- Preparing Patients for Provider’s Examination
- Explaining Clinic/Patient Procedures & Policies
- Maintain a clean treatment area by cleaning and prepping for treatments
- Provide Patient Education and follow-up care
- Reach out to Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) patients on a bi-weekly basis
- Reach out to IV Infusion Applicants/Potential Patients as needed
- Create & maintain positive customer relations for infusion services
- Provide Inventory Reports to the Head Infusion Nurse and/or Program Director
- Clerical Duties: typing, copying, scanning, faxing, mailing, printing, etc.
- Provide Direct Support to the Head Infusion Nurse
- Perform Other Duties as Required
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Registered Nurse License
- 2 Years of Experience / Strong Venous Access Skills
- Professional Attire & Behavior
- Computer Skills/Proficient In: Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, Outlook Email
- ‘Tech Savvy’: IPads, Credit Card Payments, Scanning
- eClinicalWorks EMR Software (desired, not required)
- Excellent Customer Service

- Base Hourly Rate: $30 hour
