- Plus a full hour lunch each day!

The Help Desk/Desktop Support Technician is responsible for providing remote and onsite technical and life cycle support for clients which includes daily health checks, phone support, on-site support, and remediation of Level 1 support tickets in a managed service provider environment. This position will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless client support until the ticket is fully resolved.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 1 support for our managed services client base.
- Perform daily managed services tasks to ensure client systems are healthy and running at peak performance.
- Troubleshoot advanced operating system and application issues on Windows Servers and Workstations.
- Work with 3rd party hardware and software manufacturers to solve client issues.
- Provide administration and support of Windows Servers and Workstations.
- Install and configure software applications and install upgrades.
- Conduct Desktop deployment and upgrades.
- Participate in an on-call rotation after 3 months of employment.
- Provide onsite client support.
- Other duties as necessary or assigned.
Position Qualifications:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- 3 or more years of experience with desktop build, windows system, network routing, office 365 required.
- Microsoft certification or similar certification preferred.
- Customer service and helpdesk support experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to act and think independently and apply critical thinking skills.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn, adapt and keep up with new technologies and trends.
- Ability to travel and must have reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 25-50 pounds. Ability to drive, walk, stand, lift, kneel, stoop, crouch, twist, and bend. Frequent use of fingers and hands and ability to type, read, speak.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
