Encino personal injury law firm is looking for Personal Injury Lien Negotiator to join our team.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Lien Negotiator will be assigned settled cases to audit and be lien negotiated, while working under the direction of a lead Lien Negotiator
* Reviewing and auditing all lien negotiated cases prior to presenting client with disbursement sheets.
* Ensuring that all medical bills and liens are accounted for including health subrogation reimbursement.
* Ensuring that all out of pocket costs are accounted for including any legal funding loans.
* Ensuring that all Medicare, Medi-cal, and statutory liens are accounted for and negotiated.
* Responsible for obtaining settlement releases and following up on settlement checks.
* Constant follow ups with lien proposals to ensure files are being closed out quickly and accurately.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Very organized with the ability to prioritize tasks with a sense of urgency.
Meticulous and detail oriented
Excellent follow-up skills
Strong communication skills
Excellent customer service skills (2 year minimum)
Team Player Mentality
Requires knowledge with Excel.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Prior experience in personal injury, prior medical billing, and /or accounting experience is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
