American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT certification for a cardiac cath lab assignment in Illinois.

Work in an active cardiac cath lab performing both diagnostic and interventional procedures
-
Procedures include cardiac cath (diagnostic and interventional), IABP, IVUS, Impella, biopsies, CVC, PICC, tunneled HD catheters, fistulograms, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, drain placements, ureteral stents, nephrostomy tubes, thrombectomies, thrombolysis, Y-90 treatments, and embolizations

Equipment includes Siemens C-arm (single and bi-plane) and GE ultrasound

EMR system is Epic; Omnicell also used
-
4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
-
Weekend work is required

On-call is required with a 30-minute response time; weekday call is 13.5 hours with rotating scheduling among team members

Minimum of 1 year of experience; 2+ years preferred

Minimum of 1 year of experience in an active interventional cardiac cath, NeuroIR, IR, or EP lab preferred

Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program or Associate Degree in Applied Sciences required; Bachelor of Science degree preferred

ARRT certification required

IEMA licensure required (license required if applicable)

IL license must be in hand — no emergency or pending licensure

Current BLS through AHA required

ACLS through AHA required within 6 months of hire

Experience with Epic and Omnicell required

May be required to float to a different unit or facility at the manager's request

Two professional references required, including at least one from a supervisor, manager, or charge nurse within the last year

All requested time off must be submitted at the time of initial consideration and cannot be added afterward

Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility are accepted but at a local pay rate
