This position will be responsible for assisting the Rescue Coordinator over the Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, and Return (TNVR) program. The work involves communicating with the public about the benefits of the TNVR Program, as well as providing hands-on support by transporting trapped cats to and from the shelter or veterinary facilities. Responsibilities include safely handling and transferring animals, verifying surgical releases and return locations, and accurately maintaining animal records. The position also involves setting up and maintaining field traps, crates, carriers, and other TNVR equipment. Candidates should be comfortable working independently in the field, interacting with the public, and safely handling feral cats. Additional responsibilities include cleaning and disinfecting vehicles and equipment, maintaining supplies and inventory, reporting vehicle or equipment issues, and assisting with animal transportation and emergency evacuations.
