Tree Groundman Position Available
We are a locally owned and operated tree service company seeking a dependable, hardworking, and safety-focused Tree Groundman to join our growing team. This position supports tree crews by assisting with tree trimming and removal operations, maintaining a safe job site, and operating equipment efficiently and professionally.
The ideal candidate is motivated, works well in a team environment, has a strong work ethic, and is comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions. Good communication and customer service skills are also valued, as we take pride in providing professional service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist climbers and crew members during tree trimming and removal operations
- Operate chainsaws, chippers, and other equipment safely and efficiently
- Manage ropes, debris cleanup, and job site organization
- Follow all company and industry safety standards
- Maintain professionalism with customers and the public
Requirements
- Tree service or outdoor labor experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Safety-minded attitude and willingness to learn
Pay
$20–$28 per hour, depending on experience
