Shift Schedule: M-T 8am-4:30pm (30) Fri as needed
Pharmacist Duties & Responsibilities:
Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
Dispense prescription medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and drug interactions.
Monitor medication therapy and recommend adjustments when appropriate.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and facility policies.
Maintain accurate medication records and documentation.
Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff as needed.
Manage medication inventory, storage, and controlled substances.
Promote patient safety through medication management and clinical interventions.
Minimum Qualifications
Current, valid, and unrestricted CA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Pharmacist.
Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
