Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and implement custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and enhancements in SAP systems to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical specifications and translate them into efficient code solutions.
- Perform system analysis and design for new functionalities, ensuring scalability and maintainability of applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ABAP programs, including debugging and performance tuning.
- Integrate SAP modules with external systems using web services, RESTful APIs, and other middleware solutions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of code changes, technical specifications, and system configurations.
- Participate in Agile software development cycles, including sprint planning, reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience developing in SAP ABAP environment with a strong understanding of SAP modules such as FI, MM, SD or PP.
- Familiarity with modern programming languages and frameworks including JavaScript, Python, C#,.NET, React, Angular, Node.js, and SQL databases like MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Knowledge of system design for enterprise applications using UML diagrams and best practices in software engineering.
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS or Azure is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), version control tools like Git or SVN, and Agile methodologies.
- Ability to develop APIs using SOAP or RESTful services for seamless system integrations.
- Skilled in debugging complex issues across distributed systems and multithreaded environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with effective communication abilities to collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders alike.

Pay: $50.00 - $55.16 per hour
