*Job Overview*
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Body Shop Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing repair estimates, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive repair processes and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and technicians.
*Duties*
- Evaluate damaged vehicles to determine the extent of repairs needed.
- Prepare accurate and detailed repair estimates using industry-standard software .( CCC ONE ESTIMATING SYSTEM )
- Communicate with customers regarding their vehicle's condition, repair options, and costs.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure all necessary repairs are accounted for in estimates.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair techniques.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the estimating process.
- Assist in managing the workflow within the body shop to ensure timely repairs.
- Stay informed about industry trends, including advancements in automotive technology.
*Requirements*
- Proven experience in auto estimating or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships.
- Strong sales skills to effectively communicate value to customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficient in using estimating software and tools relevant to the automotive industry including Parts trader.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Bilingual Spanish speaking A plus but not necessary.
