Room 120 is Buffalo's members-only speakeasy: an intimate, reservation-driven space built for guests who expect precision, discretion, and a real craft cocktail experience. We're looking for a bartender who treats the bar like a stage and every pour like it matters.
What You'll Do
- Craft classic and original cocktails with technical precision: proper dilution, temperature, glassware, and garnish every time
- Build real relationships with our members
- Maintain an elevated, low-key hospitality style that's confident, unhurried, and detail-obsessed, never rushed or transactional
- Manage a curated spirits program including rare and allocated bottles, and speak knowledgeably about product with members who will ask
- Uphold the discretion and exclusivity that defines the Room 120 experience: what happens in the room stays in the room
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years bartending experience, ideally in a high-volume cocktail bar, speakeasy, or fine dining environment
- Strong classic cocktail knowledge and the technique to back it up (shaking, stirring, building, batching)
- Polished, professional presence for a guest-facing role in an upscale, members-only setting
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- A team-first attitude; Room 120 operates alongside The Draft Room and Cobblestone Cigar Lounge, and cross-collaboration happens often
- Someone who takes pride in the details other bars skip
