Job Summary
Join our team as a Driver, where you will deliver and pick up roll-off dumpsters at job sites and homes throughout the Lakes Region.. This role involves operating a range of commercial vehicles, mainly hook-lift trucks.
We expect that you'll arrive promptly every day while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards.

Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks: our entire fleet is single axle.
- Navigate using GPS systems to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining awareness of traffic conditions and route changes. Utilize tablets to execute work orders.
- Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, hazardous materials regulations (Hazmat), and safety standards for transporting dangerous goods.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met; report any mechanical issues promptly.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL-B) would be DESIRED. Don't have a CDL-B yet, but want one?
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or over-the-road (OTR) routes.
- Knowledge of truck loading/unloading procedures and logistics cargo handling techniques.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning for efficient deliveries.
- Familiarity of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials regulations, and safety protocols related to truck driving.
- Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks such as load & unload operations.
- Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service excellence.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
