This requires an RN/LPN License If this is you, then we would LOVE to hear from you! Full-Time position. You would work 20 hours Unit Manager Duties and 20 hours Wound care/floor duties.
Certified Wound Nurse would be responsible for assessing skin, developing plans of care, implementing orders and treatments, and evaluating progress of specialized skin and wound conditions. Certified Wound Nurse evaluates new admissions, weekly wound rounds, documents status, insures notification of physician and family of changes, and provides education to nursing staff. The Certified Wound Nurse identifies wound types, analyzes trends, and supervises nursing personnel related to wound care.

Oversee and coordinate the care of our residents

Auditing patient charts for compliance

Attending IDT meetings

Attending and preparing for compliance meetings

On Call rotations

Wound Care
Qualifications include:
-
Must have a RN/LPN license in UT
-
Previous LTC experience is required
-
Wound care experience/certified preferred
-
Previous management experience in a SNF setting
-
Pleasant attitude
-
Excellent communication skills
-
Candidate must have excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills

Supervisory experience preferred

Able to Work Well With Others in a Team Environment

Must be Organized, able to multi-task and computer literate

Required Qualifications
Minimum requirements include the following:

A nursing degree from an accredited college or university,

Current unencumbered nursing license in the state where practicing

Minimum two (2) years of experience providing direct care in long-term care, restorative or geriatric setting as an LPN.

Minimum (1) year of experience in nursing management.

Current CPR Certification.
Must also meet state requirements for relevant licensures or certifications and have no disciplinary action in effect against professional license.
