Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and organized dining area
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages swiftly and accurately using POS systems such as Clover
- Ensure all food handling and safety standards are followed during food running and service support
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of trash safely
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed, adhering to food safety guidelines
- Handle heavy lifting safely when transporting supplies, dishes, or equipment around the restaurant
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs, providing excellent in-person customer service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and basic food preparation techniques
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting practices
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience with banquet service or large event settings is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Food Handler's Certificate
