Position Overview
We are seeking a highly structured, detail-oriented, and employee-focused HR Analyst to manage day-to-day HR operations, onboarding assistance, and internal communication workflows. This role serves as a primary internal anchor, managing our central HR inbox and serving as the definitive subject matter expert for all internal employee questions regarding benefits and payroll. Additionally, this position will actively partner with team leadership to draft, document, and update core organizational policies and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities
● Onboarding Coordination: Own and facilitate key aspects of the internal onboarding
process, helping to shepherd new hires from offer acceptance to complete workforce
readiness.
● Inbox & Communication Management: Monitor, organize, and triage the central HR email inbox, ensuring prompt, accurate, and professional support for all internal inquiries.
● Benefits & Payroll Subject Matter Expert: Serve as the primary point of contact to answer all routine and advanced employee inquiries regarding corporate benefits, open enrollment, and standard payroll processing rules.
● Policy & Procedure Development: Collaborate actively with regional leaders and legal guidelines to help draft, refine, and maintain standardized company policies and operations manuals.
● Data Governance & Compliance: Track internal HR workflows and personnel compliance indicators, proactively addressing any process delays or missing onboarding documentation.
● Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with internal payroll coordinators and benefits administrators to confirm personnel system data matches continuous policy adjustments.
● Continuous Process Improvement: Identify structural opportunities to simplify employee onboarding steps, centralize documentation, and enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
● Proven experience in human resources coordination, corporate operations, or HR analyst-level support.
● Deep understanding of standard corporate benefits plans, eligibility rules, and routine payroll procedures.
● Strong professional writing skills with experience or exposure to drafting formal corporate policies and procedures.
● Exceptional communication skills with a track record of running shared communication portals or central email workflows.
● Comfortable acting as a visible, central point of accountability for employee support.
● Familiarity with foundational HRIS platforms, onboarding automation tools, or ticket
management software preferred.
Location Requirements
● Candidates must be located in or willing to commute daily to Peoria, IL
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
