**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be able to prepare and cook a variety of dishes, working closely with the rest of staff and management to ensure the highest level of quality and presentation. **Responsibilities:**
- Carry out meal preparation and cooking
- Prepare ingredients and dishes according to established recipes and menu plans
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations
- Keep the kitchen organized and tidy, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Assist with menu planning and food service
- Collaborate with other cooks to ensure dishes are prepared efficiently and effectively
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and presentation
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Knowledge of dietary requirements and meal planning principles
- Experience with dietary aids or a background in culinary arts is a plus
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects and equipment
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, and weekends
