Construction Foreman
Southridge Builders, LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to lead residential construction projects throughout Southern Oregon. We're looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, strong leadership, and maintaining a safe, productive job site.
This is a hands-on leadership position. Our foremen lead by example and are expected to work alongside the crew daily while overseeing job site operations, maintaining quality, solving problems, and ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise residential construction crews.
- Work alongside the crew daily while overseeing job site operations.
- Ensure work is completed correctly, efficiently, and to company quality standards.
- Identify potential issues before they become costly problems.
- Read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Meet with building inspectors, understand inspection requirements, and ensure any required corrections are completed properly.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project management.
- Promote and enforce safe work practices and maintain a safe, organized, and productive job site.
- Train, mentor, and support crew members.
- Communicate job progress, concerns, and solutions to management.
Qualifications
- Extensive residential construction experience required.
- Previous foreman or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of residential construction methods and building practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to identify workmanship issues and maintain high quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Safety-conscious with the confidence to identify and correct unsafe work practices.
- Dependable, organized, and self-motivated.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Must be insurable to operate company vehicles.
- Comfortable driving a company truck and pulling all sizes of trailers.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting at $30+/hour DOE (higher pay and profit sharing available for exceptional experience).
- Company work truck provided.

The right candidate is equally comfortable meeting with an inspector, solving a construction issue, helping a crew member, or picking up their tools and getting to work.
