Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and a keen understanding of fabrication processes. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, primarily on construction sites, where precision and attention to detail are paramount. The Welder will be responsible for producing high-quality welds and ensuring that all work meets industry standards.
Schedule: 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
Duties
- Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and Stick welding on various materials including sheet metal and piping.
- Must be able to do free hand welding.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the specifications of the project.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
- Conduct fabrication tasks including assembly of components and ductwork installation.
- Operate machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters as required.
- Ensure compliance with ASME codes & standards during all welding operations.
- Perform mechanical tasks such as pipe threading and rigging as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals within deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in welding with a strong focus on construction site applications.
- Familiarity with various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and Stick welding.
- Proficient in using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools for precise work.
- Solid understanding of basic math principles related to measurements and calculations.
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in machining and soldering preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
