American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with 2+ years of OR experience — including thoracic, trauma, neuro, spine, ortho, and robotics — for a hospital operating room position.

Works in a hospital OR with 11 surgical suites handling 25–35 cases per day

Case types include orthopedic (total joints, sports medicine, fractures), neuro (spine and cranial procedures including craniotomies, tumor resections, and brain biopsies), maxillofacial, ENT, plastics, vascular, colorectal, general, GYN, robotics, urology, podiatry, thoracic, and breast

Day shift: 7:00am–3:30pm, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

On-call schedule includes 5–6 call shifts per week, including overnight and weekend call

EMR: Epic

Scrubs are provided by the facility

Minimum 2 years of surgical technologist experience required

Experience in thoracic, trauma, neuro, spine, ortho, and robotics is required

Familiarity with Stealth navigation system required

CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required

BLS certification from the American Heart Association required

Active Virginia (VA) license required if applicable

Assist in a high-volume OR environment spanning a broad range of surgical specialties

Support neuro cases including cranial and spine procedures — clipping experience is not required

Floor-specific orientation is 1 week in duration

Holiday coverage is expected, including one major and one minor holiday
