About us:
Barn Door Public House is a self-pour taproom and beer garden/patio located in South Escondido. We love 3 things most: pigs, beer, and people.
-With over 26 taps, we have something for everyone: beer, cider, seltzer, wine, AND kombucha! We also offer a rotating selection of wine, cocktails, and boozy slushies.
-Our menu is centered around shareable, fun offerings with a piggy twist!
-Weekend Brunch is currently offered on Sundays (hoping to expand to Saturdays soon)
-Business hours: Wed/Thurs 4-9, Fri/Sat 3-10, Sun 12-8 (brunch hours 12-2)
Summary: we are looking for hospitality rockstars that can create meaningful experiences through food! Ideal candidates will have prior restaurant experience, can carry a conversation about beer, and ensure all guests leave with a smile. You will be responsible for the following:
Kitchen Summary: we would love for you to have previous kitchen experience. If you love cooking and making people happy, that’s more than enough!
- prepare and stock all ingredients
- execute easy-to-prep dishes at high volume
- used to working in tight quarters
- consistently produce quality items and take pride in the food you serve
- daily cleaning/setup/breakdown of kitchen
- team oriented and team supported
Requirements:
-San Diego County Food Handlers Card (all hires)
-CA RBS (Alcohol Beverage Control) certification (all server staff)
-reliable transportation to Escondido
