Landscape Maintenance & Installation Technician
We are looking for a hardworking, dependable, and experienced landscape technician to join our team. Our company provides a wide range of landscape services, so this position offers the opportunity to work on many different types of projects rather than doing the same task every day.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine landscape and lawn maintenance, including mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, pruning, and general property cleanup
- Operate commercial landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform landscape installations, including planting, bed preparation, mulch, drainage, and general landscape improvements
- Install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain irrigation systems
- Install and maintain low-voltage lighting systems.
- Perform sod installations and related site preparation
- Assist with a variety of other landscaping, outdoor construction, and property improvement projects
- Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas
- Work efficiently as part of a team while maintaining a high standard of quality and professionalism
- Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding job-site needs and project progress
Qualifications & Preferred Experience
- Previous professional landscaping experience is required
- A valid driver's license is required
- Experience operating Walker Mowers is specifically desired
- Experience with commercial mowers and other landscaping equipment is strongly preferred
- Irrigation experience is a plus
- Landscape lighting experience is a plus
- Experience with sod installation and landscape installation is a plus
- Ability to safely operate hand tools and power equipment
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and attention to detail
About the Position
This is a hands-on position for someone with experience in the landscaping industry who is capable of handling a variety of tasks in the field. Because we handle everything from routine maintenance to complete landscape installations, irrigation, lighting, and sod, versatility and experience across multiple areas of landscaping are highly valued.
Walker Mower experience is especially desired. Candidates should have a solid understanding of professional landscape maintenance and be comfortable operating commercial landscaping equipment.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
