Estimator / Customer Service Representative
Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Estimator / Customer Service Representative to join our team. This position plays an important role in keeping our front office, technicians, customers, and parts department running smoothly.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can multitask, stay organized in a fast-paced environment, and provide excellent customer service while supporting our technicians and production team. Automotive experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with questions, scheduling, and service needs.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service at the front counter.
- Assist customers with understanding recommended services and repair needs.
- Prepare estimates and provide recommendations for additional services based on technician findings.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding services, pricing, parts, and repair recommendations.
- Monitor the point-of-sale/shop management system to ensure technicians are properly updating tile/status information throughout the repair process.
- Help keep repair orders and customer information accurate and up to date.
- Receive incoming parts and verify orders for accuracy.
- Organize and properly store received parts.
- Process and coordinate parts returns when necessary.
- Deliver parts to technicians and ensure technicians have the necessary parts to complete their work.
- Communicate with technicians, parts suppliers, and customers as needed.
- Help maintain an organized and efficient front counter and parts area.
- Assist with other day-to-day shop and office responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable working in a busy, team-oriented environment.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both customers and technicians.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and follow through.
- Previous automotive, estimating, service advising, parts, or repair-shop experience is preferred but not required.
- Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry automotive parts and supplies.

Pay: Up to $24.00 per hour
