Job Overview
Sorce Services, LLC, a locally owned and operated dumpster and storage unit rental company is seeking Experienced Roll Off or Lugger Truck Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering and retrieving dumpsters and storage units while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service. This is year-round and steady work with overtime hours and pay available in the peak season.
The ideal candidates with proven Roll Off or Lugger Truck experience, a clean driving record, a professional and positive can-do attitude can expect to receive an industry and market leading pay and benefits package.
Duties
- Operate roll off or lugger trucks to deliver waste containers and storage units.
- Execute route driving to deliver dumpsters and storage containers in a timely manner.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload dumpsters and storage units.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations governing commercial driving.
Experience
- Proven experience in roll off or lugger trucks with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License), Class B with Air Brake Endorsement and clean driving record.
- Expert knowledge of container loading and unloading procedures and safety protocols.
- A strong understanding of truck maintenance practices is beneficial.
