This position is 8AM-5PM. Our facility is open 7 days a week, so we are requiring our employees to work at least 2 weekends a month. Typical schedule is Monday - Friday, or Saturday - Wednesday.
This General Laborer position involves chemical blending, chemical bagging, general cleaning, sweeping, garbage removal, and assisting in our Bulk Services Plant.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintaining a safe working environment
- Bagging non-hazardous chemicals
- Blending non-hazardous chemicals
- Assist in the quality control testing of blended chemicals
- Operate forklift after successful completion of company training
- General cleaning, including sweeping and garbage removal
- Cross-train and demonstrate competency in all essential job function of the blending department and/or any department determined by need
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of relevant work experience in transportation, chemicals, supply chain, manufacturing, or logistics preferred
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Must be able to read and understand English for the purposes of interpreting MSDS documents
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift/push and pull up to 100 pounds
- Exposure to shop environment (PPE will be provided).
- Regularly sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, and use hands to operate objects, tools, and controls.
