Cook – Neighborhood Bar in Everett
Location: Everett, WA
Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time
We are seeking a dependable, experienced Cook to join our team at our neighborhood bar in Everett, Cheri's Fireside Lounge. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable and has previous culinary experience in a similar environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepares food items within established timeframes.
- Cleans and maintains a neat, safe working environment including the kitchen and food service areas.
- Complies with state sanitation codes.
- Maintains inventory control, places food order, verifies that items are received appropriately and restocks kitchen shelves.
- Maintains the quality of food prepared and served.
- Performs other tasks/duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education or experience sufficient to meet position requirements.
- Requires attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to relate positively and communicate appropriately with customers and other employees.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, early mornings and/or late nights, based on anticipated business levels.
- Experience with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale system helpful.
- Experience with Turbo Chef highly preferred.
- Must be 18+ with current Food Worker Card (Food Handler's Permit).
- Leadership experience a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
