We are seeking an energetic and passionate Natural Hair Care Specialist and/or Cosmetologist to join our vibrant beauty team! In this role, you will be the go-to expert for clients seeking specialized natural hair care, styling, and overall beauty enhancement. Responsibilities
- Provide personalized consultations to understand clients’ hair goals and recommend tailored treatments and styles.
- Perform natural hair care services such as cleansing, moisturizing, twisting, braiding, and styling textured hair
- Execute advanced techniques including hair extensions application, coloring (Cosmetology) , and hair threading with precision and care.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment following industry standards for sanitation and safety
- Use salon software like Vagaro to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently
- Educate clients on proper hair care routines, product usage, and maintenance tips to promote healthy hair growth
- Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and hair accessories to enhance client satisfaction and store sales
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology Natural Hair Care Specialist license with experience working in the beauty industry. (Flexible to offer Apprenticeship for those starting out)
- Strong knowledge of hair care principles and styling techniques for natural textures
- Proficiency in salon software systems like Vagaro for appointment booking and client management. (Willing to Train)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their needs
- Experience with store management tasks such as front desk duties.
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols and best practices for maintaining a safe salon environment.
Note: Commission Base Pay
