About the role
Kaimetrix is seeking a System Administrator – Level III to support the operation and upkeep of enterprise IT systems in a secure, mission-critical environment. This role ensures the availability, integrity, and security of computer systems, servers, and networks while enabling users to access required resources. The position requires strong automation capabilities and the ability to develop comprehensive documentation supporting system administration activities.
What you'll do

Perform server management, network management, user account management, security management, and backup and recovery operations

Support the operation and upkeep of systems to ensure secure and reliable access to required resources

Perform automation tasks, including writing and maintaining scripts using common scripting languages

Develop standard operating procedures, maintenance guides, and knowledge base materials to support infrastructure platforms

Conduct advanced troubleshooting and system optimization to maintain performance and reliability

Support implementation and monitoring of security controls and system administration policies

Assist with maintaining a secure and stable environment across enterprise systems
Qualifications
Education/Experience:

Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in system administration or related IT infrastructure roles

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Baseline cybersecurity certification such as Security+, CASP+, or equivalent certification aligned to DoD requirements
-
Active Tier 3 (T3) background investigation or ability to obtain and maintain
