EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
In this position, you will focus on maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles and equipment used in daily transportation operations. The work supports safe, reliable performance of engines, systems, and tools across the fleet. As a Diesel and Construction Equipment Mechanic, you will perform the following duties:
Equipment Repair: Perform repairs on vehicles and machinery by replacing parts, fixing systems, and completing mechanical adjustments-
Preventative Care: Carry out routine maintenance on engines, systems, and equipment to reduce wear and prevent breakdowns

System Diagnostics: Identify mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and methods to determine effective repair steps

Safety Inspections: Conduct official state inspections, perform required repairs, and document findings and results accurately

Workplace Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all required safety procedures and protective measures

Work hours are 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
