This position is full time from March/ April through November/ December- weather permitting.
About this position:
- Assist with maintaining 60+ clients properties on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis
- Planting Installations: Amend soil, plant flowers, trees and shrubs, install irrigation emitters and add mulch to new plantings
- Identify and place plants according to design
- Take detailed notes of work performed, track time and document with photos
- Provide the highest quality workmanship for our clients at every step of the way
- Engage with clients
Our gardeners must enjoy the outdoors, working in the heat, and getting dirty when needed! They should be highly personable, professional, and upbeat.
While we are always happy to train an excellent employee with a passion, the following qualifications are very helpful:
- Knowledge of native plants, water consumption, and proper gardening maintenance techniques, insects / pest solutions
- Very detail oriented/able to multi-task
- Time management skills
- Previous landscape or gardening experience
- Willing and able to work along side crew in a physically demanding environment
- Must speak English
- Valid Driver's License required
