Overview
Join our team as a CDL Class A Truck Driver. In this role, you'll be responsible for transporting equipment and materials safely and efficiently within your designated routes. You'll play a crucial part in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations.
What you’ll do
- Operate a tractor-trailer, ensuring safe transport of equipment and material across local area
- Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts and other equipment as necessary
- Navigate various driving conditions while maintaining compliance with traffic laws
- Manage side dump trailers, flatbeds, and other specialized vehicles as required
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and performance
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
- Collaborate with dispatcher to optimize routes and enhance delivery efficiency
Basic qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving, particularly with tractor-trailers
- Proficiency in manual transmission operation
Preferred qualifications
- Previous experience doing equipment deliveries and pick ups.
- Familiarity with side dump trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks, and road cranes
- Strong knowledge of load and unload procedures for various cargo types as well as loading and unloading of equipment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
