We are seeking a compassionate HHA / CNA to become a part of our team! You will provide routine in-home care per a care plan and under the direct supervision of a nurse.
Responsibilities:
· Provide routine individualized care including but not limited to medication reminders, bathing/dressing, meal preparation, basic wound care, etc.
· Monitor and report changes in patient health status
· Teach family members ways to care for patients
· Transport patients to appointments as well as run errands
Qualifications:
· Experience in home health or other health related fields (preferred but not required)
· Positive and patient demeanor
· Ability to build rapport with patients
· Ability to handle physical workload
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to re-direct/alleviate patient behaviors
Preferred:
· TBI experience
· CPR/TB
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
